What do landlords have to do about asbestos?
When work at a rental property could expose workers or tenants to asbestos fibres, the landlord must identify the asbestos and prepare an asbestos management plan for that work. We can test, report and help you put the plan in place.
Can you handle several properties at once?
Yes. We regularly survey and quote multiple properties together and schedule removal or re-roofing by priority.
Do tenants need to move out during asbestos roof removal?
Usually not for exterior non-friable work like a Super Six roof replacement – tenants keep windows and doors closed and stay out of the work zone. We’ll advise if interior or friable work requires the property to be vacated.
Can you work with insurers on storm-damaged asbestos roofs?
Yes. We provide inspection reports and photos to support claims and carry out the approved repair or replacement.
