At a residential property in Papatoetoe, Auckland, we carried out a roof repair focused on replacing damaged Decramastic tiles around a leaky area. The existing tiles had been dented, which compromised the roof’s ability to stay watertight, so the damaged sections had to be removed and replaced.
We carefully removed the dented tiles and supplied and installed brand-new Decramastic tiles to restore the roof’s function and appearance. The team completed the job in just one day with minimal disruption for the homeowner, and the new tiles matched the existing roof, giving a durable result. The quick turnaround meant the homeowner didn’t have to worry about a change in the weather mid-repair.
As always, we left the site clean and tidy. Because Decramastic tiles from the 1960s–80s often contain asbestos, damaged tiles are handled using asbestos-safe methods.
